Dawson House, a 825 sq m (8,880 sq ft NIA) office building has completed at
Matrix Park in Chorley.
Offering Grade A accommodation, the two storey building is ideal for a head
quarters or other mid size requirements. Alternatively, it can be split into
four individual office suites, each comprising 206 sq m (2,220 sq ft). Both
options are available on a leasehold or freehold basis.
Speaking of the building, Adrian Lewis, Redrow’s northern region development
director, said: “Dawson House is a quality office building with a first
class specification in a high profile position at the gateway to Matrix Park.
It benefits from raised access floors, air conditioning, and a large number
of car parking spaces. It is only one mile from junction 28 of the M6 and two
miles from junction 8 of the M61, so obviously benefits from good access to
the motorway network. The Park itself is set within a landscaped environment
and a variety of nearby amenities are proving to be a big attraction with the
existing occupiers. With the success we have achieved at Matrix Park to date,
I expect the building will be the focus of a lot of attention from businesses
looking for good quality premises in a strategic location.”
Other than Dawson House, just one other new unit of 230 sq m (2,430 sq ft)
remains on plot 1200 with future phases planned and design and build opportunities
available. Immediately adjacent Dawson House, Marston’s Brewery has opened
the Bobbin Mill, a pub/restaurant which has firmly established itself as a
popular venue with occupiers of Matrix Park and the surrounding Buckshaw Village
community.
King Sturge’s Richard Wharton, joint agent on the scheme with DTZ, concluded: “This
is a very good quality building in a popular location. As one of Chorley most
prestigious business developments, Matrix Park enjoys a formidable reputation
and any company taking space at Dawson House would reap the benefits of such
a sought after address.” |
